I have an issue with Purchase quote approvals. It was functioning perfectly fine, and now I cannot cancel approval requests, the click button is not active, and once I approve, it doesn't update the status to Released. Keeps it in pending approval yet it has been approved. I uninstalled all extensions, only change was 27.3 that installed.

anyone come across a similar issue?

This is an issue in 27.3 that has been fixed in 27.4

All stuck entries must be cleared after upgrading to 27.4

Hello,

I could determine which flow is being executed and review the details of the flow in the approvers.

I could also validate the change when it is approved.

Not sure of yours, but I use a workflow user group for the approval. Is yours on direct approver?

Hello,

Since this started right after 27.3 and extensions are removed, it’s most likely a workflow instance issue triggered by the update: the approval entry gets approved, but the workflow response that should change the document to Released doesn’t execute, so the quote stays in Pending Approval and the Cancel Approval Request action becomes disabled; check Workflow Entries and Approval Entries for stuck/open records, verify Job Queue Entries for errors, try disabling and re-enabling the workflow, and test in sandbox — if it reproduces, it’s likely a regression and worth raising with Microsoft.

I would check restriced records to see if the quote is restricted.

Another think is to manually release the quote, and see if that changes the status from pending approval.
