Attaching different file types in the mobile client

When using the mobile client (on Android), if you attempt to add an attachement within the notes section on a case, you are only given the option to add files from the Gallery or Photo's (image files).

If I want to attach a .pdf document stored on my device, how do I do this?  Is the restriction coming from CRM or the device OS?

I've checked the CRM Environment System Settings and the file type is not blocked.

    Yes the new version always open the Gallery not the Folder Or files. So only able to attach the image and video files. I have tried to rename the document as png and tried to attached but it says unsupported format. So currently not able to attach docs.Seems they will fix this limitation in upcoming release.

    I found the following article which references enhancements in 365, but again this only references Photo, Video, or Audio files.  There is no reference to adding documents.

    It would be good to understand if this is a limitation from the device OS preventing you from attaching files other than photos, or if the limitation is set by the CRM Mobile client.

    it seems to be an issue with the app because the same problem with both android & iphone as well.
