Approval of invoices - See only invoices for approver

I have different approvers of invoices but when they log in Business Central, they can see all invoices, also the ones they do not need to approve.

This results in an issue of confidentiality (invoices for self-employed people, invoice of CEO can be seen,...)

Is there a way to limit the view of these users in such a way that they can only see the invoices they should approve?

Thank you for your help on this.

    Hello,

If this functionality does not exist in standard Business Central and if there is also not partner extension, I think it is a good candidate for a feature suggestion to be raised via https://aka.ms/bcideas .

    Thanks.

RE: Approval of invoices - See only invoices for approver

    Dear Josh

Thakn you for your reply. In our Business central (Belgium?) the standard profiles are always eable to see tables where they can see all the posted invoices. It is indeed correct that on the approval entries page, they can only see the invoices to approve. I understand that we would need to limit the profile/permissions set to a particular 'approval profile" starting from a standard profile. What is the best profile to start with and/or what are the permission to be set? (if this is anywhere available?)

    Thank you!

In the case of the request approval entries page only the approval administrator can see all entries. The approval entries page does not have a restriction though. Perhaps taking that out of permissions could help. Depends how your permissions are right now though as it would be a page restriction. Permissions do offer another choice though. You could use a security filter for the approval entries table per user. Resource on security filters: docs.microsoft.com/.../security-filters
