Hello folks. I am new to the RMS field. I'm having a terrible time determining whether Dynamics RMS 2.0 is or can be considered PCI Compliant. Is it a matter of following a well informed implementation guide and up to the merchant to use some compliant payment integration? Is it just not compliant as compliance expired in 2016? Would very much appreciate a hint. Thanks very much!

That being said, more and more processors/merchant services companies are telling our customer "no" if the customer is using the EDC in RMS Admin and/or Win XP, and/or generic mag stripe readers. The whole SHA-2 and TLS 1.2 deadlines have also caused the processing to be turned off for many retailers using the native EDC processing in RMS. We've had around 1700 deployments of Card Defender for RMS since 2015 which resolves the issues with RMS 99% of the time.
