Suggestions for moving manually "SQL compatibility" when migrating SQL Server on CRM upgrade?

Hello experts, besides a lot of experience migrating SQL Servers in CRM on-premise installations, I do not have an answer for this scenario:

Suppose a scenario with CRM 4.0 and SQL 2005. If I redeploy the CRM to a new SQL 2008 R2 server, I do not know if the compatibility level of the CRM databases should be moved manually.

Any hints or suggestions?

Thanks a lot, Hugo.

PD: I read the CRM implementation guide and I am aware of the redeploy Process. My question is for a SQL upgrade with no CRM redeploy.

PD2: Yes, CRM 4.0 :)
