Access Cloud Hosted environment instance application using Custom Host Name

Hello Community

How do i configure custom host name for D365 FO Cloud hosted environments.

For example: i have following cloud environments: Unit-Test, Sandbox.  I want my users to access the application using friendly names.

Unit-Test env should be accessible through URL :  d365UT.MyOrg.com

Sandbox env should be accessible through URL: d365Sand.MyOrg.com

    Hi San,

    You can't change the URLs for cloud hosted environments. Users can bookmark links, install the webpages as apps or embed Dynamics 365 as a webpage in Teams. There might be some other alternatives for easy access.

    Thank you for response, i am still not clear if this is possible or not. Here is what i tried....

    Unit-test environment instance..

    VM Name:  Complicated-VM-1

    we created a custom CName record in internal DNS "d365UT.MyOrg.com" 

    and then added a new Site Binding entry in IIS -> AosService website using the host name "d365UT.MyOrg.com" 

    when trying to access the F&O application using: https://d365UT.MyOrg.com it errors with this message..

    Correct, authentication requires a set URL. The F&O application in your tenant is setup with reply URLs when being deployed from LCS.

    I believe you can ask your AAD Tenant Administrator to add the new URL as a valid reply URL for the F&O application. I think that should work.

    (so to be clear, this is not an F&O thing but rather Azure Active Directory security feature)
