How to get length of byte in navision

Hello all,
 
I am bit confuse in Byte data type in NAV and in .Net.I want to calculate length of Byte .How to achieve this using Nav Byte data type and using .Net byte .In c# there is method byte.lenght but when i try to replicate the same in nav i am getting error.

    Hi, I'm not sure if this will help you, you could try reading into an blob and then use the Blob.Length() Method.
     
    Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.
