Canceling Workflow

Hello everyone. I've created the workflow that sends notifications 1 day before the Est.Close Date. I've constructed it like this:

It must work only if the opportunity is open, but for some reason it's triggered even when the status isn't Open. Is there anything that I'm missing?

Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Partner,

    I notice that the condition of timeout is contract date, not Est.Close Date.

    Maybe you can change it.

    Or you can add ‘otherwise’ branch, and set ‘stop workflow’.

    Save and active it, try to test again.

    If it still run when opportunity isn’t open, you can go Settings < system jobs to check the details of the workflow.

    Hello Leah,

    Thank you for your response. Contract Date is just the Display name of the Est.Close Date field. I'll try what you suggested about canceling the workflow and I'll post the result.

    I added the Stop workflow stage and it works perfectly now. Additionally wanted to notice, that the system remembers old sessions even if the workflow is corrected, so it'd be better to cancel workflows for specific records manually. Otherwise the past wrong workflow will still do its job until it succeedes.
