Hi,

I have an issue where the CRM Outlook is automatically taking the domain name (gmail.com,hotmail.com) as the company name. For a recruitment company, it is a nuisance because we have to keep deleting that.

How can I fix this?

    Do you have any customizations (javascript/plugins) running on the entity.  Also is this the account entity

    I don't think this is standard/out of the box behavior for CRM.

    Hi Ben,

    Nope, no customisation. This is just the standard CRM Outlook plugin.

    It is the lead entity. When we click on the Convert to Lead in CRM Outlook, it takes the email domain name of the recipient's email as the value in the Company Name field (gmail.com, hotmail.com)

    so you are converting an email into a lead

    I don't really see this as a problem because you would have to type in a company name anyway and CRM is basically just trying to help you by trying to predict what it might be.

    I can't see a way to change this because I think CRM is calculating this.  You could create some Javascript to overwrite this value on the lead onform load for new leads.

    Hi Ben,

    We do not type the company name because we are in recruitment. Many leads are private individual looking for jobs as well. So we leave the company nam empty.
