Hello,

For a few weeks now, some temporary files have been generated, but I don't know how.
What could be generating these files?
Is it an antivirus issue?

File names example : __TEMP__3a086d8594b240c6acc3954e0c509626.tmp.html

    Could be several reasons.
Try scanning once before we jump in some other areas. :)

The temporary files have been there since 04/27/2025 and are getting bigger. It started at 45 MB and now it's creating 800 MB files.
I've deleted them all manually, but it keeps creating new ones.

Maybe this will help you investigate the issue.

These temporary .tmp.html files are usually created by background processes or applications handling previews, exports, or data processing. It’s unlikely to be an antivirus issue. Check recent system activity or integrations to narrow down the source.

It is recommended to submit a SR to Microsoft and ask their technicians to assist in the investigation. BC14 has less than half a year of support period, after which Microsoft will stop any support.

    Thanks.
