What is the different between Dynamics 365 F&O Retail and Commerce and Dynamics 365 Commerce ?

Hello everyone,

What is the different between Dynamics 365 F&O Retail and Commerce and Dynamics 365 Commerce ?

And I'm also looking at a good video / techtalk about F&O Retail and Commerce, is someone can share the information ? Basically I cannot find in All Techtalks link that this forum provided since it is kinda mixed with everything, Also obviously as the question, it is confusing to look whether it is F&O Retail and Commerce or D465 Commerce, by the overview look, I can only guess that D365 Commerce is based on CE product, so it is different platform, if my guess is right. Also there is D365 Retail

All together there are, D365 F&O Retail & Commerce, D365 Commerce, and D365 Retail. Anyone can help to describe what really happened here.

But what I really looking is D365 F&O Retail and commerce, video, techtalks or somethin a like.

Retail was a part of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, but now, Dynamics 365 for Retail is provided as a new offering or standalone app. Most functionality is shared between Dynamics 365 for Retail and the Retail module of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce delivers a complete omnichannel solution that unifies back-office, in-store, call center, and digital experiences. With eCommerce you will receive out of the box online store (Microsoft hosted, Microsoft-created CMS system, etc.) integrated with other retail channels, that is not available with D365 Retail.

And retail &commerce module you mentioned corresponds to the content of D365 commerce just like the following MS documentation described.

But I had summary of what are the differences :

The key differences between Dynamics 365 F&O Retail & Commerce module, Dynamics 365 Retail, and Dynamics 365 Commerce:

Dynamics 365 F&O Retail & Commerce module is a module that can be added to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) to provide retail-specific functionality. It includes features such as point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and customer relationship management (CRM).

Dynamics 365 Retail is a standalone retail application based on CE/CRM that includes all of the functionality of the Dynamics 365 F&O Retail & Commerce module, as well as additional features such as omnichannel commerce, marketing automation, and predictive analytics.

Dynamics 365 Commerce is the next generation of Dynamics 365 Retail. It is a cloud-based, headless commerce platform that provides a unified experience for customers across all channels, including in-store, online, and mobile.

At least I know D365 Commerce is the successor of D365 Retail (and this is out of my intention) . What I needed is D365 F&O Retail & Commerce module guidance. Hope someone here can give some pointer.
