Intercompany general journal

Hello all,
 
Could someone provide real example of the following intercompany gen. journal. Particularly /To allocate costs using an intercompany general journal/.
 
Also please consider the steps from the BC documentation in order to have approximate example.
 
This would help me understand the logic.
