    Hi,

Changing the Salesperson Code in Posted Sales Invoices is not supported through standard configuration packages, as posted documents in Business Central are considered historical records and are generally read-only to preserve audit integrity.

    Here are a few considerations:

    1. Configuration Packages: These are typically used for importing or updating data in open tables (like master data or unposted documents). Posted documents, such as Posted Sales Invoices, are not editable via this method.

    2. Workaround Options:

      • If the change is required for reporting purposes, consider creating a custom report or extension that maps or overrides the displayed Salesperson Code.
      • Alternatively, you could create a custom table to track corrections or mappings between original and updated salesperson codes.
    3. Custom Development: If absolutely necessary, a developer could create a customization to allow changes in the posted invoice table, but this is not recommended due to compliance and audit risks.

Please verify if this response was helpful.

    Best regards,
    Daniele

You cannot change the Salesperson Code in Posted Sales Invoices using a Configuration Package, as posted documents are locked for audit integrity in standard Business Central.

However, a Microsoft partner can help you achieve this through a customization by modifying the relevant codeunit and adding permissions to the Sales Invoice Header table. This allows controlled updates while maintaining traceability.
