Creating a view to display info from two child entities

Hi All,

I need to create a view that consists of data from two child entities.

When trying to create the view from the parent entity level - I defined filter conditions for the two child entities (conditions which in essence create a 1:1 relationship with the parent record. But I am not able to display the information from the child entities - the CRM does not allow me to select fields from the child entities to display in the columns of the view.

When trying to create the view from one of the child entities, I do not have access to the other child entities....

This is not possible with a CRM view. You cannot display attributes from a child entity, as there may be more than one child record. Your 2 main options are:

Create a report, which will allow you to display the data that you want

Use a workflow (or rollup field, if the values are numeric) to populate fields on the parent based on the data in the child records.
