Hi ,

Our client is facing the issue of "Publish" disabled in Edit in Excel if have custom fields. This issue we are facing for Sales Order Lines and Purchase order Lines. We have almost 18 custom fields for the Sales Order Sub Page and 10 custom fields on the Purchase Order Sub Page.

The client has two country versions - Norway and the United States. We are using the same custom extension for both versions and the weird thing is here for the United States version we are not facing any issues with EDIT in Excel including custom fields.

We did a lot of analysis but didn't find the root cause for the same. As per our observation primary key fields it is not coming by default in selected fields after clicking Edit In Excel and that is the reason "Publish" is disabled in the Excel sheet. We cannot tell the user to always go to design in Excel and add those primary key fields in selected fields.

We need urgent solutions for the same.

I will add a screenshot here for more understanding.

After Click on EDIT in Excel in BC below sheet will open and Publish is disabled in the right Data Connector

Thanks for help

Vijay

    Two possibilities
    1. Missing some required fields, if these fields are missing the publish will be greyed out.
    2. User permission problem, no modification permission

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

I saw two responses to my question but it is not work for me.

We have the all fields available on the page including the custom fields even have super permission for the user.

As per my observation which I mentioned in my question. In the Excel worksheet, we can do the design and those fields can be added in selected fields but this is not the correct solution from a user's point of view.

is there any limit of fields? or sequence has to follow?
