Report Builder - Data Source

Hi,

Using Microsoft Reports Builder to personalise some of the financial reporting within D365 BC. Can download the RDL file and open successfully in the builder.

However, how do I configure the data source? I have my URL to access Dynamics, but can't find a way to connect the report builder to the data source.

    Unfortunately, there's a whole other step: You have to build the AL report dataset for the custom report to read (Under "Understanding the data model and dataset of a report"):

    This is correct - You dont add BC as a datasource to a RDL, building an AL project generates the RDL's Datasource, with fields mapped within the AL project.
