Putting Posts On Campaign Form

Hi.  It looks like Microsoft does not allow putting Posts on the Campaign Form with Dynamics 365 Online.

If I am mistaken, I would like to know how to do it.

If I am correct, I would like to know why can't we do this?  You put Posts on other Entity, including Custom Entity, forms.

    Hi Rick,

    I am also noticing the same behaviour i.e. the campaign entity is not available under posts configuration.

    I even tried to create/ enable the post for campaign entity programmatically using the available SDK methods and it failed with the below message-

    "./root/data[@name='Configuration.EntityNotAllowed, configuringEntityName: 'campaign', innerException: ''']/value' has an invalid token."

    So yes it is not available and yes it cannot be enabled. This certainly looks like a bug/known issues/ limitation.

    Hi Ravi,

    First of all, thanks for responding to my post.

    That is really weird that Microsoft does not allow Posts on the Campaign Form on a core Entity like Campaigns.  I think that entity has been around since version 1.0.

    I would like to think that there is a business reason for it but I can't think of one that makes any sense.
