I am unable to use drag and drop fopr documents when using Safari or any other browser on a Macbook. This works fine on a Windows PC using Edge. Has anyone seen this working or any comments on why it might fail?

I have the same question (0)

Unfortunately it is a bit short on detail :-/ They are using Safari on the Mac. I tested using a Mac in my office and this works so there must be a settin gon their Mac that stops it.

Hi, is this a Business Central question? As far as I know, BC currently does not support Drag and drop. Regardless of windows or mac.

But this feature will be added in the 2023 release wave 1 plan, BC22.

    More details:

Drag and drop files onto the file upload dialog

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/release-plan/2023wave1/smb/dynamics365-business-central/drag-drop-files-onto-file-upload-dialog

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

The big advantage of the Mac and iOS in general is that it is an excellent system in which it is very easy to interact with different devices of the Apple family. But at the same time, if you are switching from Android to Mac for the first time, then there will be no problems with transferring data and especially photos. Personally, I used the standard Image Capture app https://setapp.com/how-to/transfer-photos-from-android-to-mac. I found a smart tutorial on how to use it, and transferred all my photos to the new Mac without any problems.
