duplication detection rule - matchcode error

Hello,

I wsa trying to set a duplicate detection rule but unfortunately I got an error message: "you can only include 450 characters in this matchcode". Is it possible to increase the matchcode characters?

    Hi Amber Ross,

    Match code is code internally tracked by CRM engine to detect duplicate records.

    we need to use the same 450 characters and modify our matching criteria to detect duplicate records.

    E.g. let us say we are defining a rule on email id. Instead of using exact Match, we can use first 100 characters of email id to match. it is rare scenario that user will have more than 100 characters in email and our rule matches first 100 characters
