SQL report service config on crm 2011

I have installed CRM 2011 on a server with SQL reporting services on another server. i hav run through the installation wizard and keep getting the following error:

Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server http://tremictscrm2:80/ReportServer. Error: Error occurred while finding an item on the report server.

The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

I have added the correct authentication to the rsreportserver config file and the URL is correct.
Can somebody please help me as this is driving me crazy?
Kind regards
Nathan Williams

Did you ever figure out a fix for this issue? I'm getting the same error message myself.

    Hello Nathan,

These issues get fixed with the correct SPN. I would suggest to verify the SPN's and set them correctly.

Also see if the service account running the SSRS is set correctly. Try changing the service account and see if issue occurs.

For more information on the above error, refer the links below.

    I hope these help.

    Thank You !

    Hi Nathan,

Have you configured ReportServer from the Reporting Services Configuration Manager from start menu? You have to chose a Network Account in the Selection Account Tab...

    Let me know...
