Hello experts,

Does someone know whether we can create a step to confirm the remaining quantity of a picked item in the location please?

Warehouse management app.

Process steps;
  • Summary of pick screen
    • Location = A1
    • Item = RM001
    • Qty to pick = 6
  • Confirm/scan location
  • Confirm/tick item
  • Enter pick qty (6)
New step required here prior to /Put/ to location
  • Summary of remaining quantity
    • Location = A1
    • Item = RM001
    • On-hand / Remaining qty = 16
    • Confirm qty =
      • Yes
        • Continue to /Put/ location / stop work
      • No
        • Enter new qty
        • Create cycle count work
        • Continue to /Put/ location / stop work
Basically I want to carry out a cycle count for a picked item during warehouse work picking.

I hope this makes sense?

Look forward to your replies :-)

    Hi,
It is possible to create a step to confirm the remaining quantity of a picked item in a specific location. This can be achieved by incorporating a custom process step within the picking workflow.
Here's how you can achieve this:
After confirming the pick quantity for an item in a location, introduce a new step before proceeding to put the items away. This step will display the summary of the remaining quantity for that item in the location.
The summary screen will show the location, item, and the on-hand/remaining quantity. Operators will have the option to confirm the displayed quantity, initiate a cycle count work, or manually enter a new quantity if needed.
Based on the operator's confirmation, they can choose to continue with putting the items to the location or stop the work based on the discrepancy found during the cycle count.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

Thanks for your answer Kevin - just to confirm then, there is nothing standard that will perform this, custom/development only?

    Rgds.
