Contact Role to Case Form

As shown in pic in above

When we click an Primary contact in main case form page it gives us the details of primary contact and contact phone and contact email. so similarly 

we Need an Contact role which shows (refer below pic) as shown in Contact page ->role

 how can we achieve this

    This is not using global OptionSet.

    I can see that you have added custom options to this optionset in Contact.

    If you want to display only the label text then you can use single line of text.

    Otherwise, whenever we change (example adding a new option or changing the label of an existing option) the optionset in contact you need to update the field  in Case as well.

    Do you know the schema/logical name of the Role field used in Contact?

    For consistency use the same data type as in contact.

    (Did you consider using Quick View form?)

    Hi

    You could do this (displaying the fields of contact) using a Quick View form for Contact in the Case form.

    Since you have the code already you can also do the following:

    You need to add the role field (optionset) in Case.

    If Role is not OOB field accountrolecode, and if it uses a Global Optionset then use the same Global optionset for the above new field added to Case.

    If role is OOB accountrolecode then you would have to create all the options for the new Role field in Case.

    In your script get the Contact Role value and set the value of this field.

    Please refer the following to get the optionset value and set optionset.
