HOW TO UNTICK WRITE DOWN ITEM BOX IN NAV

Hi, I tried to add one item in purchase order. However, an error message appeared stated that "Cannot select write down item" even though this item has no movement at all.

Checked in the item card that Write Down Item (under Customised Line) was ticked by previous user and I'm not able to edit it.

Please help to advise on how to untick Write Down Item for this item.

Hello,

You can’t untick “Write Down Item”.

That field is custom and locked by your company’s customization rules.

Only your partner/developer can unlock or update it

There’s no standard BC setting that allows you to change it yourself.

Those are custom fields, not standard functionality. Because of that, you won’t get help here, you need to ask whoever created those fields for help.

As suggested by the community members, write down item is a custom field which is true under some conditions and for this, you need to connect with your partner.
