Correct posted unpaid purchase invoice

Hi,
Greetings!!!

I I have cancelled a posted purchase invoice using the /Correct/ function. But there is no new invoice created for doing the required corrections and posting it. The credit memo is posted automatically, and the /Cancelled/ boolean is enabled automatically for the initial posted purchase invoice. Is there any configuration required to create the new version of the invoice when the correct action is taken on the posted purchase invoice?

Thanks for sharing your thought.

Best Regards,
Ranjith

    Hi,

I don't believe there is any setup where the invoice is recreated.

If you hover over the Correct button you should see some help text and this explains that you need to create a new invoice and then use copy document.

    Hope that helps,
    Shauna

You only need to create a new Invoice manually.
You can use the Copy Document method mentioned by Shauna. If the order still exists, you can also post invoice directly from the order.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.
    ZHU
