Expressions in Word Layout

Hi all, 
 
I have created some custom layouts in Word, but the customer would like to have expressions in the layouts to show data or not. So, an IF-statement could achieve this. However, does Word layout support expressions?

    word layout doesn't support expressions. you have 2 options ,
    1.  you can add the conditions under the triggers 
    2.  you need to use RDLC layout

    Word layout does not support statements.
    You will have to build that logic into the report object it self or to use rdlc layout.
    I would recommend he first approach.
