Reports Error

Hi all,

When I try to run a report or schedule a report from the web client I get an error,

           "Reports cannot be run because the Connector for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, a required component for reporting, is not installed on the     server that is running Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services."


But the reports run in the report manager.

    Hi AM123,

    The error message is related with authentication or the fact that you don't have the report extensions installed, can you confirm you have the CRM reporting extension installed?

    if yes, did you install recently any RU? if you did, you should upgrade to RU14.

    You can also find out more on the Report Server logs or the CRM front-end windows Application logs, but the report server logs will show you the exact error message.

    Hi,

    Make sure the reporting extension is installed if yes then try repairing the report extension and see if it throws any error during repair.

    Ensure the same update roll up is installed on SRS server as of CRM.

    Do you see any errors in the application log of event viewer ?

    Check in the SRS logs for more details of this issue from this path C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles
