Hi

We are using 2015 onpremise Dynamics CRM. Is there any easy way to copy just the two entities data from  Dev to Test environment with out using the SSIS or Scribe tools.

If so, any help or guidance  for doing the step by step is highly appreciated!

Thanks

    Hi James,

You could take a look at the XRM toolbox tools to move data between environments. I guess the name is something like 'Data mover' or configuration data utility.

I do not know the limits for this tool for the amounts of data.

    Hi James ,

If you want to migrate data with GUID , it's easy to move with configuration migration tool for small amount of data.

    Hi,

You could take a look at the following article about Import and export data in Dynamics CRM.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/basics/import-export-data

You could export your data to Excel from Dev environment and import your data to Test environment.

    Hope it helps.

    Best regards,

    Judy

    Hello James,

You can use Configuration Migration Tool for this purposes - community.dynamics.com/.../configuration-migration-tool-working-smarter-with-metadata-entities

It's a part of Dynamics CRM SDK.
