Dynamics 365 Editable grids - Audit History

I have Auditing turned on for various entities, including Contacts and Companies (Accounts), however, it seems when I edit a record in the grid, the edit/change is not recorded in the Audit history for that record. Is there a way to have the edits made on the editable grids records in the Audit History of a record?

    Hi,

     are you sure the record was, actually, updated? If you close the form with that editable grid and, then, reopen it again, will you see the change?

     Audit should be working the same way everywhere (and I realize there can be bugs, but it seems to be unlikely with audit)

    I figured out my issue! I was looking at the audit history for the main entity, but the change I had made was in a subgrid, so I had to review to the audio history on that related entity. Hope that makes sense if it was your issue as well!
