SmartList Builder Error in GP 2013 R2

Hello:

Recently, we tested the upgrade of GP 2010 (11.00.2197) to GP 2013 R2 (12.00.1920).  This included SmartList Builder.  I entered our registration keys, created the views and stored procedures, and ran grant.sql against the DYNAMICS and company databases.

What needs to be done, in order to get rid of the error message stating, "Some features of SmartList Builder will be disabled until is it initialized by the system administrator".

In addition to the steps that I outlined earlier, I have tried everything under the sun, including reviewing the ERB11100 table.  This table has no missing columns.

So, what can be done to fix this?

Thanks!

John

    Hi,

Have you tried running GP as administrator?

Another one, have you tried Drop\Create Auto Procedure from the SQL Maintenance for ERB11100 tables?

    Hi John,

What build of SLB did you install? The latest for GP 2013 R2 is 12.00.0086 from E-One http://www.eonesolutions.com/smartlist-builder/downloads/

    Hi Kirk:

That's the build that we're on.  I'm awaiting word from our DBA, on backing up our DYNAMICS database.  Then, I will try Jorge's suggestion on dropping and recreating the auto procedure for the ERB11100 table.

    John,

Did you see this thread on the E-One forum?

If you can, reach out to E-One's Support.

    Good Luck,

Yes, I had already taken those steps, as well.

    Hi Jorge:

I tried these steps, just now, but got the same results.

There are another couple of things which might help you find the culprit: SQL Server Profiler and Script Log.

If these doesn't help, try E-One's Support

    Thanks

    John,

to succesfully upgrade to GP2013 you need to run some SQL scripts that are not part of your package... have you opened a support call with eOne about this issue ? they will send you some scripts to run and that should resolve your problem.. I had similar problems where the setup restarted every time I logged into GP with 'sa' to complete the setup... somehow some table structure have changed between 2010 and 2013 wich is not covered by the regular installation program of SL builder.
