Creating multiple records in CRM as a test using Visual Studio

Hi, I'm very new to Dynamics CRM and Visual Studio.

I have created a auto number workflow to create a reference number for every opportunity created. The number will increment by 1 every time an opportunity is created.

To test this I've been ask to code in Visual Studio to create around 100 Opportunities to check if every number is unique just in case.

I've gone through some possibilities and would just like some clarity on the situation and what people would do in this situation.

Thanks

You could either import 100 new opportunities

    Or

Create a console app to create 100 new opportunities

Make sure you set a field to a certain value so you can easily delete them
