Business Central On Prem: Unable to upload a Data File

Any one encounter error as below when using Standard BC function for Import data file.

the data file that we try to upload is just a 250 mb file. and it says the file is too big.

Any advise?

HI could you try the below steps

1. Open Microsoft Dynamics NAV Administration from All Programs
2. Select the NAV Service which you are using now
3. Click Edit at bottom
4. Increase Max. Upload Size from 30 to 50.
5. Click Save at bottom
6. Restart the Service.

OR

Change the value for below property in CustomSettings file

<add key="MaxUploadSize" value="20"></add>

and restart the instance

Hi Genie,

Thank you for your quick response.

We have try the above step, and change the upload sizes from 30 to 2047.

it still show the error as per the image attached above.

Please note the file sizes is only 250MB.

You can upload this file in your Sharepoint,OneDrive or Azure Blob Storage and add link to the document through Notes and Links section.

- Check Max upload size limit in Dynamics NAV Administration Console (default is 350MB)

- Check IIS for upload limits also, (IIS>>Request Filtering>>Max allowed content)
