Rollup field for running period

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi

I've been searching for a way to create a rollup that counts records over a specific rolling period.

Let's say I want to create a rollup that only counts records created within the last three weeks. Anyone knows how to do this?

Thanks,

Thomas

@antc, it’s a perfect solution for the requirements of Thomas’s

Thomas, I tried using this & worked well for me where I could roll up the values only for one month from child to parent

I suggest you try it out & also mark Antc response as answered to help others in community

    Hi Thomas,

Haven't got time to go into detail however I think this is what you are after.

I use msdyncrmWorkflowTools (1.0.40.0):Rollup Functions where I have a fetchxml argument for last x months.

It is run nightly by AsynchronousBatchProcess Asynchronous Batch Process 2.0.0.0 Yaniv Arditi.

This may help if you need something quickly:

Pretty sure there are other solutions, too.

    Hi Thomas,

It is not possible with the rollup field however you can try the traditional way of rollup calculation (which we used to do in CRM 2011)

    Check this:

    Hope this helps

    Hi Manoj

Yes that's what I have concluded as well. Was hoping that someone had found a workaround of some sort :)

    Thanks,

    Thomas

    Hi,

At this moment you can only have this fixed date as shown below

    27.11.jpg

It doesnt support other filters which are available on date field in query builder

    Hope it answers
