Get Item pictures from Shared folders

Hi,

I have a requirement to get the Item pictures from OneDrive or any share folder and to set it for the item.  I will need to run this code on a scheduled basis to get the images from the shared folder.

Is this possible?  If so can anyone point to the resources to get the pictures and set for the items in Business central.  Either by AL coding or Power Automate method anything is appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks Sebastian for your response.  I will be using this feature for the initial mass import of item pictures but later on when the items are created in BC, the item pictures has to be imported from the Shared folder, so I would need to automate the process to get the picture.

Thankyou so much Josh for your response.  I tried to use Power Automate, I was successful until getting the files from Onedrive but was unsure of importing the Picture to the Item.  In the BC connector which action should be performed to achieve this?

Beside the good answer from Josh, here is a feature where you can bulk update many item pictures - docs.microsoft.com/.../inventory-how-import-item-pictures

Power Automate is the platform best suited. OneDrive is the easier of the two as it’s cloud based. Is this for new item images or just a regular update? The naming convention of the image file will be important. Similar to how the mass image import feature works - I’d use the BC item no. as the file name. If it’s a scheduled one and you get the contents of a folder you can add the BC connector and it will insert an a loop. OneDrive stores images as a blob so no need to convert. Use this as a guide for the picture part of the BC connector: docs.microsoft.com/.../dynamics_picture_update
