Move/Copy notes with workflow

Hello. In CRM 4.0 I have created a workflow that creates a record (custom entity) when an opportunity is closed as Won and populates fields in the new record based on entries in the opportunity. What I need to do is move (preferably) or copy an attachment from the opportunity to the new record as a step in the workflow. Does anyone have any idea of how to do this?
