Is it possible to hire full development license or at least solution developer license?

Hi All,

Is it possible to hire, not purchase full development or solution developer license for NAV2016, NAV2017, NAv2018 and BC OnPrem? We would of course pay for the renting period.

For BC SaaS there is no need for development license since we do not have one,.but we still can write extensions for BC SaaS, of course in customer range 50000 - 99999.

Thank you, BR Damjan

I have the same question (0)

As far as I know, it doesn't work, you can only buy it.

You can try to contact Microsoft or local partners for more accurate advice.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

You can buy a full dev license from your msft partner. From when I was a Microsoft (2019) partner the price was around 25k USD excluding yearly maintanance.

You should be able to create extensions same as for BC SaaS for NAV 2018 and BC on-Prem, only thing that You would need is to ask Your Partner to add the used Object ID's to You license so You can run/execute them.

For NAV 2016 and 2017 it is the old way of doing (I think) and for that You would need development license.
