    Hi Tin,

To ensure that Outlook is syncing with CRM, check the settings in both applications.  In Outlook, go to:

    • File > CRM > Set Personal Options
    • In Personal Options, click on the Synchronization tab.
    • At the bottom, under the header Schedule automatic synchronization within Outlooks, make sure that the box is checked and that it is set to sync every 15 minutes.

    Now, in CRM, go to:

    • Settings > Email Configuration > Email Configuration Settings
    • In the System Settings window, under the Email tab, ensure that you are set to use Outlook for incoming and outgoing email.
    • In the Outlook tab, verify the synchronization settings.

    Hi MicTate,

I would suggest utilizing server side synchronization vs. Outlook synchronization.  This is Microsoft's preferred model for synchronizing with Exchange as it removes the need to have Outlook running.  I think this will be the primary model in the future as it removes the email router, and the dependence on Outlook.

Note - With Dynamics CRM Online the minimum synchronization minutes is 15.  You can set this value in the System Settings as an administrator under "Outlook" tab.

Overall we have setup with this method on every setup of CRM for at least the past year.

Please let me know if any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Hello Drew,

    Thanks for reply,

I am using 2015 on premises. I had configured as you suggested but sometimes its taking too much time . Its not sync in every 15 min, sometime its syns in 30 min sometime 15,20....50min as well.

for resolving this issue i am made a window service through that i am sync outlook to CRM.

But in code i am using ---- outlookService.Sync(Outlook) function.

its not triggering sync in outlook, please suggest me where i am going wrong.

    Hi Tin,

I don't think you can not force synchronization when setup with server side synchronization, that is probably why it is not working.

Have you tried tracing the async server to see what could be happening?

    Thanks,
