Order Arrival Date

Dear learned colleagues,

I have a beginners question here for a Monday morning

I need to get a list from Navision of our previous Purchase Orders with their Order Date, Requested Receipt Date, Promised Receipt Date and the date the order arrived at the warehouse.

Where do I find the date the order arrived?

Thank you in advance for any advice!

    Lovisa,

Kim replied how to accomplish the steps via the Developer side.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Wow, my apologies, I answered these as Business Central not NAV.

In NAV go to Object Designer, find your table, run the table, copy and paste to Excel....

    One more option...check this out.

    vld-nav.com/table-data-editor-for-bc

You can also go to help and support inside BC , inspect tables and pages, view table....this gets you to the same place. But it does not give you the option to export to excel or even to open in excel.

I have seen a post....just need to find it.... that I tried and I was able to get closer to the raw data to edit.

    Dear Steve,

Thank you for your response; I do have Developer Licence and access to the tables. Can you point me to any instructions on how to open the table, filter and export to Excel?

That is certainly something I would like to learn.

    Many thanks,

    LH

    Lovisa,

Go to the Posted Purchase Receipt Header, which will display the Posted Purchase Receipt Lines and filter by Posting Date, which will be the Date the Order arrived (note: This assumes receipts are posted the same day). Note that if you have access to Developer license and the Tables, you can open the Table and filter and export to Excel from there.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hi, just adding others' reply, I think you can also use Item Ledger Entries page to fitler the record you want. But some fields may need to be added.

The following are my tests on viewing orders in Business Central that I hope will give you some hints.

How to view ‘Shipped Not Invoiced’ List and ‘Received Not Invoiced’ List: https://yzhums.com/15136/

How to view Outstanding Order Lines and Posted Invoice Lines (No Customization): https://yzhums.com/8876/

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

I agree with Nitin about the Posted Purchase Receipts but the date field that you want is the Posting Date
