Is it possible to create users with automatic user permission sets or user groups based on azure active directory groups?

Hi,

I would like to know if it´s possible to have the users created in Azure Active Directory (AAD from now on), assigned a group, then a license and, when the users are created in Busines Central, that automatically could have certain user groups or user permission sets based on the AAD group to which they belong.

I would like to know if I can implement this for both on-premises and SaaS environment.

I would like to know also, if this could work using the local active directory (not the AAD) for on-premises environment.

In a real production environment, I would have to create the users in the Active Directory, with the correct groups, and then they I would like to have the correct permission sets in Business Central.

Hello,

That would only work if you can assign a license to the group. I did try this out myself using Office 365 Group / Security group but I am not able to add a license to the group.
