Hi,

I have got the following issue.

 Default language is English:

 2502.1.jpg

With the following regional options

 6038.2.png

Despite the fact that Decimal Symbol is a  “,”  exporting data to Excel Online results in a “.”  as decimal Symbol

 CRM

6560.3.png

Excel Online from within CRM:

1462.4.png

If I change my default language to Dutch with the same regional settings, de decimal symbol on Excel online is a “,” With Language DUTCH:

 5355.5.png

How comes and how to solve this?

This has to do with your computer regional settings, not with CRM.

CRM will export the data in it's numeric format, but if your Excel or Excel Online are not set to use those regional settings, you will not be able to view the data in the proper format.

What is your Country/Region specified as in Account Settings of your Microsoft account?

Not sure if the following support post will help you out, but it might:

    support.office.com/.../Change-your-display-language-and-time-zone-in-Office-365-for-Business-6f238bff-5252-441e-b32b-655d5d85d15b;rs=en-US&ad=US

If you want to check out for Excel Desktop version, then change it in Control Panel -> Clock, Language and Region -> Region

    Hope this helps.

But When i Exported the Data for Excel Online for the Dutch Language i was not facing any issue although i have not done any changes to my system for regional Setting?

I have also changed my region setting from control panel to UK then also the Data displayed in the excel is not correct.

    Thanks in advance

Excel Online uses the Regional Settings in Office 365. Excel Desktop uses the Regional Settings on your local machine.

If Excel Online is working properly, and Excel Desktop not, try to change your desktop Regional settings to dutch as see if that solves the settings.

It is possible if you Regional Settings in CRM are configured for Dutch, Excel Online will automatically use those settings but I am not sure.

Excel Desktop relies on the Regional Settings in Control Panel.

I am able to do it for Excel Worksheet for Desktop but not for excel online.
