Visual Studio 2015 Dynamics 365 FetchXML SRSS Report creation link-entity link-type outer troubles

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble getting all rows of data to display for each account when viewing the report. All my link-entity joins seem to be working correctly, but I am somehow only getting a single row limit output for each account. The Query Designer run is showing all the data rows but when running the report, I only see 1 row for each account. For example, if I am joining Accounts to Contacts, I want to see a separate row for each contact, the query designer run is showing me all contact rows for each account, but the report output only shows 1 row per account. Thanks for any help.

I tested my query with FetchXML tester and it shows all rows of data as expected as well. I'm thinking maybe somehow my report is grouping to limit each account to 1 row. Is this possible?

    Hi,

Please check if you have prefiltering enabled in fetch. This will cause to run report in context of current(single) record only.

Also don't forget to check any grouping if you are using there in report.

    Thanks:)

    I think I found my answer here - https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/c8bb9fd0-5333-4f6c-8f45-38767a4143c9/ssrs-matrix-only-showing-first-row-in-group?forum=sqlreportingservices

I'll mark this post my answer if it works. Thanks!
