    Dear Team,

I am doing Role Based Installation and what i have observed is

    1. I have done Back End Server Role Installation in One Server and i have seen MSCRM_Config DB was created in SQL Server

    2. When i try to Install Front End & Deploy Admin Server Roles in Another Server then i am getting this error.

So can you please suggest what i need to do in this case to resolve this issue.

    Hi VenkataSambasivaRao,

    1. Can you download fresh set up of Dynamic 365 on-premise and try to install it again?
    2. Delete the MSCRM_CONFIG database on MS SQL server if exist.

    Thanks!

    Dear Adrain,

I have used the query and it was showing null in LicwnseKeyVSRTM column and i have updated the key in this column using sql update query but still i am getting the same error after this update as well. And also i am installing this as role based like back end server roles in one server and front & deployment admin server roles in another server.

Please help me on this how to resolve it.

    Hi VenkataSambasivaRao K,

The MSCRM_CONFIG database stores the License Key used for the installation of your MSCRM.

You can use this T-SQL query to retrieve the value from Microsoft SQL Server and check that the License Key has installed correctly.

    USE MSCRM_CONFIG
    SELECT LicenseKeyVSRTM, *
    FROM ConfigSettings
