Override Default Price in Product Line Items in Opportunities - CRM Online.

Hello - I've seem several posts, however none seems to authoritatively answer whether it is possible to change the default price per unit for an existing product for CRM Online. I've tried to set the Override Opportunity Price in the Sales Security tab, I've tried to change the pricing to Override Price in the Opportunity_product entry, but no matter what, this field stays locked.

This is on the Opportunity form, under the Product Line Items subsection. I have 2 specific questions:

1. Can this be make editable using OOTB functionality or does it need to happen via code?

2. If the only option is through code, could you point me in the right direction to pinpoint the code that needs to change.

have you granted the override price privilege to the user?

The user does belong to a role that has the Opportunity Price Override set to Organization. However, for CRM Online, this seems to make no difference.

All users. I think this might be the way online works... you can't override the unit price of an existing product in an opportunity.

is there any JavaScript or business rule in Opportunity Product?

and also try in different browsers.

In IE, add your CRM URL into compatibility view.

Thank you for your help. I tried on a 2016 version and it worked exactly as you mentioned. I don't know it this was an issues with the 2015 version or perhaps just the 2015 system I was testing it on, but the 2016 version works!

I have looked at this thread many times. I'm signed in as the System Administrator. The permissions for that role allow to override pricing of opportunity, quote, invoice and order. All the prices are locked from the opportunity on whether in the grid or if I click into the line item. Please advise what may be the issue.
