Is there a new way to validate license keys in CRM 2015

I've used SQL queries in previous versions of CRM to check up on my trial license key's expiration, or to make sure my paid CRM license key is truly in effect.  In CRM 2015 it looks like the license key is no longer stored in MSCRM_CONFIG.ConfigSettings...is there some other way to make sure my paid license key was successfully applied?

    Hi Bank

Could you check deployment manager>Right click Dynamics CRM on the left hand pane and select server properties and see if this helps you.

    Please see above

That doesn't help.  Deployment Manager only gives you the "Change Product Key" option, with no way to view the product key you're currently using.

Sorry I am not sure then. We would usually see the trial key will expire message in CRM at the top of the screen. We enter the new key and the removal of this message shows that the key has taken affect.

Yep, I agree with that.  I'm just looking for something elsewhere in the application or database that would allow me to retrieve that new key or validate its existence (for example if I'm adding a new server to my deployment 6 months later, but have lost my key).

There is something in SQL under the config DB called CRMkeyproperties. I have not really had a look at it though

    Hi Bhartendu,

None of the above links allow you to view the product key you're currently using though do they?

    Hello Bank

    Thank you for your reply

I checked in for some more information and we should be able to locate the License key  in installation files contained on the media for the \server\amd64\license.txt file.
