I have deleted an existing plugin in plugin registration tool, which is already in production. I am getting error while importing the solution to the new environment with new plug in dll .

I have deleted an existing plugin in plugin registration tool, which is already in production. I added the dll again to the PRT . I am getting error while importing the solution to the new environment with new plug in dll .

    Can you share error details?

    Generally, you should refrain from deleting plugins from dev environment. Lot of things can go wrong when importing into production.

    The error you get in the screenshot not related to the plugin you deleted, there is a missing components that you need to add to your solution which is (entity called "Consolidated for Hearing" and field called "Question (First Response)")

    Try to add this components to your solution and re-export and import it again.

    Hi Bhabani,

    This kind of error I would suggest apply solution upgrade. Please follow below step.

    - Deactivate the plugin registration step from the managed solution in your new environment.

    - Go to development environment --Select the solution- Click on clone solution provide new version number and save.

    - Export the solution as managed .

    - Try to import the solution , you will find while importing solution there is a  checkbox called "Stage for Upgrade" , checked it and then checked "Overwrite customization"

    - Once deployed the solution , apply stage for Upgrade in the same window of solution import .

    Hi I have followed below steps,

     I have back up of my data base , from which I have created a new organisation and taken the unmanaged solution and imported  in my Dev environment, which is used for the process/Plugins.

    All the deleted steps and plugins reappeared.

    Deactivate the plugin registration step from the managed solution in your new environment. ( I have to follow this step in all environment and my code in production , So I followed above steps).
