Problems with embedding Excel in an IFrame in CRM 2011

I have a spreadsheet which I would like to open within the frame in the Quote entity. I have uploaded the file to SharePoint and have inserted the URL but the behaviour is not as expected. Whenever a quote is opened, the spreadhsheet also opens an instance of Excel rather than within the frame.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? It worked in 4.0 with the same configuration.

Hey Glynn,

Thanks for your question. My name is Josh Wells and I am a support engineer on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Support team.

I would suggest creating a simple HTML page with an IFRAME element to see if you see the same behavior. Did you modify SharePoint at any point? I've tried reproducing this on my test environment but my SharePoint server isn't configured for Office Web Apps.
