SharePoint documents available via the Portal for licensed users only?

Hi all,

I am wondering if the SharePoint integration via the Portal that is listed for release this month (see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/October18/service/dynamics365-portal/sharepoint-integration)

is available to licensed users only, or will it be available to ALL portal users?  (eg a Contact).

Thanks,

Dana

    Hi,

Portals are for the end users i.e. Contact so this has to be for Contacts. It doesn't make sense to have this functionality for CRM users. Though there is not a detailed document available on how to configure it yet but belives this would be similar to the Adx Studio SharePoint integration which requires a user having access to SharePoint site which would then be responsibility for the access of the document. The access then can be secured/ visible based on the configuration.

    Hope this helps
