How to know that how the particular field is updated.

Hi,

I have a field and i need to know how the data is added in that field. This field is neither in form nor updated via javascript or workflow.

But whenever record is created this field is updated so i need to confirm how can check . how the field is updated.

What is name of field?

Is it a system field or custom field?

By the way you can start auditing then you will be able to know who updated this field and when.

It is custom field. and it not editable on form.

Hi,

there is no way to know how the data is entered, but you can try to search the dependencies of that field, from there it might give you some hints.

You can check below items:

1. Javascript

2. Business Rule

3. Workflow / Plugin

4. Import.
