To add a bit more context, this was announced in this blog article: https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/dynamics365/bdm/2020/03/23/our-commitment-to-customers-to-help-ensure-business-continuity/

The transition deadline was extended to help customers impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

    Hi Partner,

Yes this has been changed to 1st Dec 2020, On December 1, 2020, the legacy web client will no longer be available. Organizations should make the transition to the Unified Interface as soon as possible to take advantage of Microsoft’s ongoing investments in reliability, performance, and functionality.
