Hi everyone, I have created a Warehouse Pick from Project Planning Lines and amongst the 50 items being picked there is one which is tracked with Lot Number.
From the Pick document I go to Line=> Source Warehouse Document => Item Tracking Lines => I select the Lot Number, which has more items available then I need and go all the way back to the Pick document but when I try to register I have the error that the Lot number on that specific number cannot be blank but if I go back to Line=> Source Warehouse Document => Item Tracking Lines => I can see that the Lot number is still assigned.
Why are going back to the Source Document to assign the Lot Number?
You should enter the Lot Tracking information directly on the Pick Document. When you register the Pick, it will pass the Lot information back to the Source Document.
You would only add it to the Source Document if you want to tell the warehouse worker the specific Lot to pick. In this case you would have to delete your existing Pick, enter the Item Tracking on the Source Document, and then recreate your Pick for it to pass the Source Document information to the Pick.
Instead of navigating to the Source Document, just use the Item Tracking available on the Pick.
