Shrinking and Expanding Blocks on GP "Main Section" Pages

I know i'm not using the correct lingo and this is probably very simple question, but I know there is a way to move these blocks to reside vertically on the right side on your GP screen when one is expanded. Can anyone set me straight real quick?

First of all, click on the "Home" tab from the navigation pane, and then click on "Customize this page" at the top of the content pane,

From this window, you can control the column layouts, whether it will be one, two or three columns. Additionally, there is an option for the column stack below
